Results - ISO Comparison

The 100% screen enlargements below give an impression of image quality and noise characteristics of a typical GRD II file.

I typically use ISO 100, raising ISO by a stop when necessary to ISO 200 I try not to go above ISO 200 though occasionally I will use ISO 400.

Image Quality Comments

Image quality from the GRD II is good - I've printed the files out to A3 size on my Epson R2400 and they look almost indistinguishable to prints made from my Nikon D200 (also 10 megapixel). I always prefer to keep ISO below 200 and as a maximum 400; for my taste the noise beyond ISO 400 starts to severely detract from the image.
