The sort of information typically included here includes my motivation for taking the photograph, noteworthy aspects of the composition and any specific technique used as well as a comparison with similar images taken at the time. There's also some background to the subject to put what's going on in context.
If you're still interested in finding out more, there are similar boxes on the lower left of each image that link to extended galleries of some of the subjects as well as the occasional enlarged version if there's fine detail to appreciate. |

In addition to the background information provided on each photograph please have a look at my articles that mainly deal with the technical aspects of the equipment I use. You'll also soon be able to read about specific techniques that I use for my documentary work, as I'm in the process of putting together a number of practical guides to techniques that particularly aid documentary style photography.
